On April 4th, Sun Toyota of New Port Richey proudly hosted a heart-filled Pet Adoption Event in partnership with Hits 106 and Runaways Animal Rescue. The event brought the community together for a meaningful cause—helping local animals find the loving homes they deserve.

Runaways Animal Rescue, the largest no-kill shelter in Pasco County, is completely community-funded and currently cares for over 120 animals in search of their forever families. Thanks to the support of our guests, we were able to collect much-needed supplies including food, treats, and cleaning essentials to help support their ongoing efforts.

Events like these not only give these animals a chance at a better life but also help raise awareness for the incredible work organizations like Runaways do every single day. Their mission to provide safe, loving care for animals in need is something we’re proud to stand behind.
